Getting Started
No. Jounce is for any family whose child needs support. No diagnosis is needed to book.
Browse profiles by service, location, availability, and language, or post a request and receive up to three matched applications. Book directly in the app.
Joining is free. Providers set their own session rates, and a small booking fee is added at checkout. See our Fee Schedule at jouncein.com/schedule-fees.
Payments & Billing
Your card is saved at booking, authorized 72 hours before the session, and charged 24 hours before. If the payment fails and isn't updated by then, the booking is canceled.
• More than 24 hours before the session: full refund. • Within 24 hours of the session: 50% of the session fee is charged and the booking fee is not refunded. • If your provider cancels: full refund, including the booking fee.
If you aren't available at the scheduled time or the provider can't access your home, the full session fee is charged and the booking fee is not refunded.
You receive a full refund, including the booking fee. We may also offer a credit toward a future session.
Report it in the app within 48 hours. We review every report.
Many services qualify. You can pay with your HSA or FSA card, and we provide itemized receipts. Confirm eligibility with your plan administrator.
Trust & Safety
Licensed providers are verified with their state board and monitored continuously. Respite Care, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, and Academic and Learning Support providers pass a background check, renewed every year.
Yes. Only you and the providers you book can see it. Each provider shares their Notice of Privacy Practices with you in the app at your first booking. Jounce does not store clinical notes. See our Privacy Policy.
